"It's not my name, but it'll do." on Tumblr
Two-page color comics spread from THE FOREVER PEOPLE #3 (June/July 1971), by Jack Kirby (inked by Vince Colletta), showing Glorious Godfrey, a bright-faced man with tousled red hair in a white robe with red cuffs and a high yellow collar. He stands at a podium before a bank of microphones. Behind him are a bizarre-looking organ, played by a disciple in a red robe with a high green collar; a group of choral singers in green robes; and believers in red uniforms with purple plastrons and gorgets. Some hold placards reading "Life Has Pitfalls! Anti-Life Is Protection"; "Life Will Make You Doubt! Anti-Life Will Make You RIGHT!"; "You Can Justify Anything With Anti-Life!"; and "Judge Others! Enslave Others! Kill Others! ANTI-LIFE Will Give You the Right!" Godfrey declares, "I hear you, right thinkers! You're shouting Anti-Life--the positive believe! Listen, as the great organ catches your words and finds the wonderful music in them! And what am I, Glorious Godfrey, but another poor instrument that vibrates to your message? And I say, come to me! And I shall give you the power to wield death!" One of his followers, holding up a Justifier helmet, adds, "Wield death! Wield pain! You can be justified--if you wear one of these!"
