A mixed media - pen, marker, and colored pencil - drawing of three roosters. On the left is a cockatrice. Its feathers alternate between patterns of red, orange, yellow, and gray. It has a large red comb and wattle, and a white belly with red-brown mottling. As well, it has a scaly, red, serpentine tail with an arrow-head tip. Its feet are scaly and gray, and its gray beak has little sharp teeth poking out of it. It's labeled "Wren, a very small cockatrice." The chicken in the center is an English bantam rooster. It's small and has a yellow and brown body with white spots and mottling, and a white tail. Its legs are covered in a fluffy layer of white feathers, but its toes are gray. It has a tall, pointy comb. It's labeled "Rox, English Bantam." The chicken on the right is a dark brown Araucana rooster. The brown of its feathers is rich and has undertones of chocolate and red. It also has white cheek feathers, and a short, white, fluffy tail. Its beak and feet are gray. Its wattle and comb are quite small compared to roosters of other breeds. It's labeled "Cam, Araucana."
