three stages of a flounced kilt pattern. The left side shows the curved labrys-shaped panel and 3 long, trapezoidal flounces. In the center is a front and back view of the kilt now with flounces attached, as well as another layer of trim above the topmost flounce and an attached waist tie. The bottommost flounce hangs below the edge of the kilt. The image on the left shows the kilt wrapped around into shape. It is slightly conical.
