Photograph of a book page showing the cutting layout for the heanos pattern. It shows one continuous panel of fabric, shaded gray. The top half of the fabric is the back panel, with the top of the shoulder and neckline running straight across, the sleeve openings along the selvage, and the side seam curving in towards the waist and out over the hips. The hem is cut concave. The lower half is the two front panels, reversed, so that the front opening is cut along the selvage and the side seams are mirrored in the center. The hem is also concave. Running along the top of each pattern piece is a header band, ending in long fringes.
