Moiraine continues, "and pay for it," beneath the second panel, a close-up of Siuan's face, also on the brink of tears. Panel 3: Siuan and Moiraine kiss goodbye. Moiraine narrates, "Siuan and I took the path we wanted," Panel 4: Siuan in profile, dressed as Amyrlin, against a yellow background. Panel 5: Moiraine in profile, facing opposite Siuan, again in the tent with Egwene at night, where she began the narration. She sits with a hand to her chest, eyes shut. Between panels 4 and 5 she narrates, "and we knew would have to pay for it eventually."
